The Charakusa Valley in Pakistan
This is the place where the new main goal set by the Bulgarian group of climbers is located – the Nayser Brakk Peak, towering at an altitude of 5,200 meters only, impressing with its absolutely stunning beauty, breath-taking views and pristine splendour.
The pyramid-shaped peak has six main entirely vertical ridges, making it a place of harsh beauty and challenging to reach up. The purpose of the Bulgarian Expedition is to do just that – to start a new route to Nayser Brakk or to climb some ridges of the peaks surrounding it.
“The technical difficulty of this type of climbing is much more complex. Such terrain requires high degree of technical mastery and knowledge,” says Ruslan Vakrilov.

Mr. Nikolay Petkov and Mr. Ruslan Vakrilov at the Alpine Club of “Planinets”, Mr. Doychin Boyanov at the Sports Club of “Vertikalen Svyat” and Mr. Ventsislav Kostov at the Alpine Club of “Mlad Dihatel” have a chance to be the first Bulgarian climbers to stand on the summit, which was reached by a dozen of people only, of all the world.
